System Design

  • 3.95kw array, south west facing, located in Surrey UK
  • 9.5kwh battery
  • GivEnergy G2 3.6kw Inverter

PV Production

  • MSC Prediction 3684 kWh
  • Real world production 3670 kWh

Grid

  • Grid Import 7001kWh, almost entirely during the 7.5p cheap window (Huge win), but it fell short on most days in Mid Nov - Mid Feb
  • Export 1929 kWh.

Approx £15 extra made out of DFS payments (Much lower this year)

Bills

£250/month bill down to £65, still looking good for a 6-7 year payback.

Commentry

This year export rates were 15p rather than 4.1p in the summer, as I pay 7p for import, I've been importing overnight and exporting more during the day.

The system has continued to perform well, and Home Assistant / GivTCP do a great job of looking after it.

DFS payments have been a disappointment this year, reflecting better overall margins. The process is largely automated at this stage, so I'm happy to continue
